This beautiful wedding in Phuket took place at one of the island’s luxury villas in Kamala, along the famous Millionaires’ Mile — a spectacular stretch of Phuket’s west coast known for its private residences, dramatic architecture, panoramic views of the Andaman Sea, and exceptional sense of privacy.
The villa was designed across several levels, allowing us to create a natural flow between different parts of the wedding day. Rather than keeping the entire celebration within one space, each stage of the event unfolded in a new setting, giving guests a constantly changing experience throughout the day.
For the wedding ceremony, we selected a separate oceanfront platform positioned below the villa’s main level. Surrounded by tropical landscape and overlooking the Andaman Sea, it created an intimate and highly scenic setting for the couple’s vows.
Before the ceremony, guests gathered for a welcome reception on an elevated terrace just above the ceremony area. From there, they could enjoy views across the coastline while cocktails and refreshments were served before making their way down to the ceremony.
At the couple’s request, we moved away from the traditional oversized floral wedding arch and developed a more contemporary concept.
The ceremony backdrop was created as an architectural installation using flowing fabric and subtle floral accents. The movement of the fabric, soft organic lines, and restrained use of flowers allowed the surrounding landscape to remain the central visual element.
For a destination wedding in Phuket, this balance is particularly important. When a venue already offers extraordinary sea views and natural scenery, wedding design should complement the location rather than compete with it.
Following the ceremony, guests were invited to the wedding dinner.
For the reception design, we created an unconventional layout featuring two long, wave-shaped dining tables. Between them, we developed a lush living garden, with floral arrangements and greenery integrated directly into the space.
Instead of traditional centerpieces placed simply on top of the tables, the floral design was conceived as part of the overall architecture of the dinner area. Plants and flowers appeared to grow naturally between the guests, creating an immersive garden environment within the reception.
The curved shape of the tables introduced movement into the layout and offered a more contemporary alternative to conventional banquet seating.
As daylight faded, the atmosphere transformed completely. Candlelight, decorative lighting, and layered floral details turned the dinner area into an intimate private garden by the sea.
The result was a wedding reception that felt elegant and sophisticated while remaining relaxed and closely connected to the tropical surroundings of Phuket.
After dinner, the formal part of the celebration transitioned into an after party with music, cocktails, dancing, and a more relaxed atmosphere.
