Luxury Wedding of Alexander & Julia at Villa AYE Phuket

In 2018, Art of Events produced a spectacular luxury wedding for Alexander and Julia at one of Phuket’s most impressive private residences — Villa AYE, set high above the Andaman Sea with breathtaking panoramic views.

The celebration welcomed 50 guests, including the couple’s families, closest friends and a number of celebrity guests. The wedding continued for three days, becoming an immersive journey filled with flowers, fine dining, music, entertainment and unforgettable emotions.

The defining visual element of the wedding was an original ceremony arch designed in the shape of an open lotus flower. In 2018, Art of Events became the first event team in Phuket to develop and produce a wedding structure of this kind.

The lotus was chosen for a reason. Deeply connected with Thai culture and spiritual traditions, it represents purity, harmony, beauty and the beginning of a new life. Our aim was to create more than a beautiful ceremony backdrop. We wanted to produce a meaningful artistic installation that reflected the character of Thailand and the location of the celebration.

Bringing this concept to life required extensive engineering and production work. The professional design of the metal structure was commissioned in Saint Petersburg. Engineers calculated the shape of each petal, the weight of the extensive floral decoration, the internal support system and a specially designed base capable of keeping the entire installation secure.

Once the engineering stage was completed, the metal frame was fabricated in a specialist workshop in Phuket. The construction included a complex system of petals, internal supports, floral inserts and a substantial base designed to ensure the stability and safety of the installation.

During the final stage, the Art of Events floral team covered the entire structure with fresh flowers. The technical metal frame was transformed into an enormous blooming lotus, becoming the centrepiece of the ceremony and one of the most recognisable wedding installations ever created by our team.

Flowers played an essential role throughout the entire celebration. Large-scale floral arrangements decorated the ceremony area, guest tables, lounge spaces, terraces and other areas of the villa. Every composition was created especially for the project and designed to complement the contemporary architecture of Villa AYE and its tropical surroundings.

The wedding dinner was prepared by one of Phuket’s finest catering teams. A bespoke menu featuring premium ingredients, sophisticated presentation and exceptional service was created exclusively for the guests.

Art of Events works only with Phuket’s most trusted and highly regarded suppliers. From catering and floral design to technical production, lighting, sound and entertainment, every partner is carefully selected to maintain a consistent standard of quality throughout the event.

Throughout the celebration, Dom Pérignon flowed freely, accompanying the wedding dinner, speeches, performances and the long night of festivities.

After sunset, the villa was completely transformed by an elaborate audiovisual production. Professional concert lighting, powerful sound, bespoke visual content and special effects turned the private residence into a fully produced stage worthy of an international event.

The musical atmosphere of the wedding after-party was led by a special guest from Moscow — DJ Шушукин. His energetic set continued the main programme and transformed the evening into an exclusive private club experience that lasted late into the night.

The main wedding evening concluded with a spectacular fireworks display launched from a specially positioned barge in the Andaman Sea. Reflected across the water and viewed from the villa’s terraces, the fireworks created an unforgettable finale.

The celebration did not end after one night. Alexander and Julia’s wedding continued for three consecutive days, with each day featuring its own programme, culinary experience, musical atmosphere and style of entertainment. Guests relaxed, danced, enjoyed exceptional food and celebrated together in the privacy of one of Phuket’s finest villas.

The wedding of Alexander and Julia became one of the most beautiful and technically ambitious projects produced by Art of Events.
