Barbie rave

Following the worldwide release of the Barbie movie, Art of Events, in collaboration with Cafe del Mar Phuket, produced the spectacular Barbie Rave — one of the brightest, most colourful and most talked-about themed parties of the season in Phuket.

The event welcomed approximately 1,000 guests, transforming Cafe del Mar into an immersive pink fantasy inspired by the iconic Barbie universe. For one unforgettable evening, the beach club became a vibrant world filled with colour, music, fashion and interactive experiences.

The centrepiece of the project was its large-scale artistic décor. Art of Events developed the entire visual concept, completely transforming the venue with custom-designed installations and immersive decorative elements created exclusively for the event.

The venue featured oversized floral installations, thousands of pink balloons, custom-designed photo locations, illuminated decorative structures, themed art installations and countless design details that turned every corner of the club into a picture-perfect setting.

One of the evening’s signature attractions was the giant Barbie Box, allowing guests to step inside and become part of the Barbie world. It quickly became the most photographed installation of the night and one of the event’s defining visual features.

The music programme featured well-known DJs performing throughout the evening, while Go-Go dancers, professional models and entertainers completed the vibrant atmosphere and brought the Barbie-inspired concept to life.

Barbie Rave became a celebration of colour, creativity and entertainment, with its extraordinary décor making it one of the most visually recognisable themed events ever held at Cafe del Mar Phuket.
